A linguist by training, I gained my PhD from the University of Nottingham in the UK in 2013. I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand with my family in 2015 to take up employment at Massey University in Wellington, where I taught primarily into the university’s Bachelor of Communication. Since 2022 I have occupied the role of Director of Teaching and Learning in Massey’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
