Our Associate Dean Research (ADR) Community of Practice provides an opportunity for members across Australia and Aotearoa to meet regularly, discuss spotlighted topics, share insights and resources.

The Community of Practice started in 2025. The group focuses on sharing pragmatic approaches to challenges and opportunities. In 2025, each gathering was chaired by a different ADR who facilitated discussion followed by open questions from attending members.

In 2026, the group intends to become more collaborative and work together to tackle issues facing ADRs in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. The group meets regularly to discuss relevant topics. There is plenty of scope to respond to emerging issues.

In 2026, we are pleased to have two ADR conveners who support the Community of Practice through setting topics and the structure of the network.
