The Associate Dean (Research) Communities of Practice provide opportunities for members across all institutions to gather together. The groups meet regularly to discuss spotlighted topics, share resources and guidance for addressing common challenges.
Gatherings are structured with 20 minutes discussion on a spotlighted topic by a Chair who is a member of the network. This is followed by 30 minutes of facilitated open discussion and questions by members.
This meeting provided members the opportunity to meet and talk about the challenges associated with balancing research quantity and quality, with institutional expectations. It also was the final session for 2025. Members discussed what issues they would like to see addressed in 2026 and how the ADR Community of Practice can continue to remain relevant.
