As Executive Director of DASSH, Jane leads advocacy efforts for the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities disciplines on behalf of university leaders in Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Jane worked as a journalist with the ABC where she reported for ABC News, RN, ABC Local and Rural across all platforms. She has received multiple awards for her reporting.
As a community engagement adviser for a high-profile ASX listed company, she successfully managed complex and high-level stakeholder relationships. In her prior strategic communications roles with Landcare and the National Portrait Gallery, Jane developed comprehensive strategies, secured extensive media coverage, and built strong relationships with key stakeholders.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) from RMIT, has served on the Board of community organisations and was an ABC Heywire youth mentor.
