Geoffrey Miller is a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of Otago in Dunedin, where he is researching New Zealand’s relations with the Gulf states in the 21st century. Geoffrey has lived in Germany and the Middle East and is a learner of Arabic and Russian. Geoffrey also writes and provides comment on international affairs and geopolitics in the news media. His work has been published by outlets including Radio New Zealand, The Conversation, The Diplomat, The Australian and many others.
