Dr. Richard Blythe is Pro Vice-Chancellor of Humanities at Curtin University and a member of its Senior Executive Team. He contributes to strategic governance through the Digital Steering Committee responsible for overseeing the universities digital strategy, and leading innovation in the use of AI in learning and teaching. Formerly Dean at Virginia Tech and RMIT, he has led major academic institutions internationally. A founding member of architecture practice Terroir, his work has featured at the Venice Biennale and the National Portrait Gallery. Dr. Blythe has chaired national education committees and served on government and accreditation panels, earning international recognition for leadership in creative practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
