Professor Kate Nash has been Head of School at Newcastle since 2023. Prior to that she spent 10 years in the United Kingdom and was Deputy Dean in one of the largest and most diverse Humanities and Arts faculties. Kate has done work on research development, industry engagement and teaching and learning. Kate is a SFHEA. Her academic home is media and communication where she works on factual genres (documentary/podcasting) and political communication.
