Professor Craig Batty is Executive Dean of UniSA Creative at the University of South Australia, and formerly its Dean of Research. His expertise are in screenwriting, creative practice research, and the creative doctorate. He has published over 100 books, chapters and journal articles on these topics, most notably on creative research methodologies and doctoral supervision. He was Chair of the Australian Screen Production Education and Research Association (ASPERA) Research Sub-Committee for 5 years, and also Deputy President of the Australasian Association of Writing Programs (AAWP).
