Understanding Job-Ready Graduates

Posted in News on 10 April 2026

DASSH has new resources to support understanding of the Job-Ready Graduates Package (JRG) and its impacts on the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, and the higher education sector more broadly.

These resources have been developed to provide clear insights into how JRG has reshaped student contributions, participation, and the delivery of education across disciplines and institutions.

Resources include:

  • Timeline and overview of JRG
  • Relevant sector analysis on impacts
  • DASSH submissions and joint statements
  • Fact sheet on JRG and HASS

These resources bring together key evidence from across the sector to support a comprehensive understanding of how JRG is affecting students, institutions and the broader education system in Australia.

DASSH has consistently advocated for reform of JRG to better align with the goals of the Universities Accord, including improving equity and participation while ensuring the sustainability of the tertiary education system.

These resources are intended to support informed discussion and policy development, and to contribute to ongoing reform efforts.
