Our Teaching and Learning Network provides an opportunity for members across Australia and Aotearoa to meet regularly, discuss spotlighted topics, share insights and resources.

Tuesday 30 June
12pm – 1pm (AEST)
Online

This mid-year gathering of the DASSH Teaching and Learning Network will explore career progression, leadership pathways and sustaining leadership through collegial panel discussion.

The session will feature reflections from Paula Geldens and Nathan Wise, who will discuss their own professional journeys across academic, faculty and executive leadership roles. Drawing on their experiences, the conversation will consider the opportunities, challenges and transitions involved in moving from teaching and learning leadership into broader institutional leadership positions.

Designed as an open and practical discussion for teaching and learning colleagues, this gathering will provide space to reflect on leadership development, career sustainability, mentorship and the evolving nature of leadership in universities. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with speakers and peers on the realities of navigating leadership pathways in higher education today.
