The Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (DASSH) is the authoritative agency on research, teaching and learning for the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities in Australian and New Zealand universities. DASSH supports those within these institutions who have responsibility for the governance and management of research, teaching and learning in their universities. DASSH was established in 2002 and became an incorporated non-for-profit association under the Associations Act (ACT) in 2004. A volunteer Board meets quarterly and governs DASSH.
Strategic Plan & Constitution DASSH members approved the strategic plan 2009-2012 at the 2009 AGM. The plan outlines the objectives and key strategies for DASSH and underpins the work of the Secretariat directed by the Board. Council members agreed to a revised constitution at the 2011 AGM.
